Benigno Servillano “Noynoy” Aquino | Is he autistic?
There are text messages that are currently floating around the metro about Benigno Servillano Aquino, popularly known as Noynoy Aquino. This concerns his mental health. The text message is as follows:
“Break – in news: Within this week or next week, NP will release Noynoy’s Medical Certificate when he was still a cute little boy like Joshua… Just to confirm and validate rumors that Noynoy is indeed autistic… Would you still want an autistic/50 year old virgin for President? Please pass..”
This would seem like black propaganda against Noynoy Aquino in connection with the fact that he is a presidential candidate in the upcoming Philippine Elections of 2010. I believe that if this is black propaganda, then it is a pitiful attempt at trying to ruin his name.
In my opinion, it would be of no use to smear dirt on his name. Any act of putting stain on Noynoy’s name would only prove to be a futile attempt at doing so. This is due to the fact that when people look at him, it is not him that people see. The image that people see in him is the image of his parents, Namely Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino and Corazon “Cory” Aquino. The mountain of praises for Noynoy’s parents can never be overcome by the pebbles that are thrown at him. The name of Aquino will always be looked upon as pillars in Philippine history. The rumors may change the minds of a few, but not the majority.
But the question still remains, is Noynoy autistic? Well, we won’t know for sure. Although I have heard rumors that Noynoy was indeed entered in an institution for children who are suffering from autism. But, these are just unconfirmed rumors. Maybe this “medical certificate” would reveal the truth behind the rumors.
I would like state that I have not considered voting for Noynoy. I just want the elections to be clean, honest, and fair. I would also like to reiterate that I am not the source of this text message. Also, I do not mean to cause any harm, I am just stating facts that I received and heard.

I’m not quite sure about it, but I’ve heard of rumors that he was admitted in an institute for autistic children. Although, that’s just still a rumor.
