TV | Legend of the Seeker
Here’s another show that I’m hooked on.
The Legend of the Seeker is a show of mystic, magic, and lore. It is based on novels of Terry Goodkind called The Sword of Truth.
The story circles on the adventures of Richard Cypher as he was named the seeker by the Wizard of the First Order named Zeddicus Zu’l Zorander. They are also joined by Kahlan Amnell, a Confessor. and , in season 2, by Cara, a Mord’Sith.
The first season was a story of the quest of Richard to defeat Darken Rahl. It is said by prophecy that the seeker would defeat the Evil in the land, as represented by the evil tyrant, Darken Rahl. As such, Cahlan went in search of the Seeker, and she found Richard. Richard was named as seeker by Zeddicus and then went on the quest to defeat Darken Rahl.
The second season is a story about Richard’s quest to defeat The Keeper of Souls, called mainly as the Keeper. In this season, Richard learns that Darken Rahl is his brother. Also, Zeddicus learns of a new prophecy that Richard would fail in his quest to defeat the Keeper and the only way to defeat the Keeper is to name a new seeker. As such, he is faced with the dilemma of naming a new seeker or believing in Richard. Also, they are now joined by Cara who was an enemy in season 1.

this is very interesting coz i myself is always mesmerized by wizards and sorceress. when i got the chance to go to a dvd store i asked for the legend of the seeker. luckily they have it seasons 1 and 2. i didnt sleep until i finished it. thanx to your article.
Wow! Thanks! The story right now is kind of weird because there are a lot going on. A lot of characters have sprung up and somehow there are many questions unanswered. Hope you keep on watching.
